Read to Self Success

Today, we continued to learn about read to self. We built our stamina even more. Can you believe that we read for 6 minutes? I am sure that we could have easily read for longer. I was impressed! We also learned about reading good fit books and started talking about checking for understanding. Ask your child about check for understanding. Good readers always stop and check for understanding when they are reading.
