Nature center day

Here is what we did today:

"We went to the nature center and we got to see all kind of animals." Sage 
"We went to music and the computer lab. We did the circle and tree." Akshara

"We learned about the short I sound." Emma
"We learned a new poem called a tasty mix." Natalia 
"We did daily five and handwriting." Yojit 
"We learned about using iPads the right way." Keimyia

wild tuday

Blogger of the Day: Alli Today we learned about the Civil Rights and cultures. Our favorite thing was being together. Our learning target was I can describe the relationship between a series of historical events. In gym, we were bowling. Ryan was surfer of the week. Also, we are reading Wonder. 1st Day of School

Today was our 1st day and it was a great day to be back. We were so excited to meet our new classroom friends and learn all about 1st grade. We read stories, shared about ourselves, completed some fun coloring activities and made self portraits. We even went to technology and gym. They were both so much fun. Look at us on the 1st day of school!  We can be silly too!  We are learning quickly how to work together. We got our supplies done in a record breaking: 15 minutes.  We figured out how everyone got home from school today.  Check it out, we mostly get home by car.  Our self portraits were so awesome! We are already learning how to use our share chair to share our learning with our classroom friends. It was a great day at Farrington Bay and we can't wait for tomorrow!
