Blogger of the Day: Ryan

Today we did our civil rights leader in tech time. And in gym we did the YMCA song. Our learning target (I can write sentences with subject verb agreement). Also, Mr. Blank's class stayed in our class because he was sick. In math, we also measured our bean stalks. In science, we also are learning about seeds. They are corn, bush beans, pea, and sunflower seeds.

Adjective Garden

Yesterday, we made an adjective garden. We are learning about adjectives and plants so it was a fun learning experience. Together, we brainstormed as many adjectives about a plant and the made a plant. We knew a lot of adjectives about plants!

Blogger of the Day: Alli Today we learned about the Civil Rights and cultures. Our favorite thing was being together. Our learning target was I can describe the relationship between a series of historical events. In gym, we were bowling. Ryan was surfer of the week. Also, we are reading Wonder. 1st Day of School

Today was our 1st day and it was a great day to be back. We were so excited to meet our new classroom friends and learn all about 1st grade. We read stories, shared about ourselves, completed some fun coloring activities and made self portraits. We even went to technology and gym. They were both so much fun. Look at us on the 1st day of school! We can be silly too! We are learning quickly how to work together. We got our supplies done in a record breaking: 15 minutes. We figured out how everyone got home from school today. Check it out, we mostly get home by car. Our self portraits were so awesome! We are already learning how to use our share chair to share our learning with our classroom friends. It was a great day at Farrington Bay and we can't wait for tomorrow!
